Beyond the four areas above, we regularly take cars from Gelugor, Bayan Baru, Sungai Ara, Batu Maung, Balik Pulau, Air Itam, Tanjung Bungah, Batu Ferringhi, Teluk Bahang, Jelutong and Farlim on the island, and Perai, Seberang Jaya, Simpang Ampat, Juru, Kepala Batas, Nibong Tebal and Sungai Dua on the mainland.
We also see cars from Kulim and Sungai Petani in Kedah, and from Taiping, given that a multi-day coating job means one drop-off and one collection rather than a daily commute.
Does location change the recommendation?
Genuinely, yes — more than most people expect.
A car garaged in Bukit Jambul and driven 400 km a month has a completely different protection requirement to an identical car parked on the street in George Town, 200 metres from the water, under a rain tree. The first car needs light protection and easy washing. The second is fighting salt aerosol, bird droppings and sap simultaneously, and will benefit far more from a graphene system with an annual top-up.
Similarly, high-mileage mainland commuters crossing the bridge daily accumulate stone chips on the bonnet and bumper at a rate that no coating addresses. Those owners get better value from a front-end PPF kit than from upgrading their coating tier.
